What is Yalla
Yalla Media was started as a way for me us to portray ourselves and what we believed in the world because Yalla is an extension of ourselves. What does Yalla mean, Yalla has two meanings for us here the first is in Arabic which means "Let's Go" and that's what we believe in working hand in hand with fellow business owners to move forward and reach new heights together but Yalla in Luo my mother tongue also means "Judge Me" because we believe in offering only the best to our clients and encourage criticism because albeit we are a new start-up we are looking to grow and learn constantly.
Our Story
Well, Yalla was also originally started because we are very young entrepreneurs who through out highschool knew that working in the corporate world in a 9-5 was not where we saw ourselves. We knew we wanted to get into the business world and we were very determined to find success. Yalla basically became a stepping stone to the life we always idealized for ourselves because it allowed us the freedom to work from anywhere but still meet and maintain valuable connections with high-quality individuals whose views aligned with ours.
